Rudd Not For Australia

I have a huge mistrust of politicians whose only aim in life is to pick on their opposition. Take Kevin Rudd for example, whenever he lacks material for his speeches he resorts to picking on Mr. Howard. His latest attacks are aimed at Mr. Howard’s age and this at his 45-minute speech to the Federal Labor’s 44th National Conference. It seems he ran out of any material of substance and had to resort to bullying someone who wasn’t there to protect himself.

The problem with Labor over the years is that they bow down to what people want and not what they need. Beasley was well known for this. A typical flip flopper he would advertise something over the media only to withdraw it when he found it was against public opinion.

Rudd is doing the same thing with his intention to repeal the IR laws. He is bowing to popular opinion rather than what is good for the country. When the major employers are voicing their disagreement with his policies he proudly states to the public he couldn’t give stuff about them, as it’s the families and average workers he is concerned about. Well Mr Rudd, when they find the pastures are greener overseas and decided to leave a sinking ship, who will look after them then.

You see that is the problem with Labor, they lack the balls to stick up for what is good for the country and would rather give into what they believe the people want, whereas Howard does what he believes is best for Australia even though it may cost him an Election.
