There are probably some of you out there that think that I hate Kevin Rudd. This is so untrue as I don’t even dislike the man. It’s not even that I am infatuated with John Howard and want to speak poorly about anyone that apposes him. I am what is called a floating voter. I vote for whatever party I think is the best choice for Australia and Australians. When I think a particular party is stuffing up this great country of ours, then I will vote them out.
At the moment Australia’s economy is doing great, unemployment is down and Aussies are so confident that they are spending big time. This more than anything else is probably what caused the latest interest rate rise. It certainly isn’t Howard’s fault. Then their are all these people pointing their finger at Howard saying that he promised interest rates would not go up under a Liberal government. People, he just isn’t that dumb to make such an impossible promise that would only bite him in the arse. What he did say was that his Government would keep the interest rates low, and I thing he has done that well.
In regards to Labor and all those wallies who say John Howard is way too friendly with Bush, I think it’s great that he remains friendly with the a country that is our ally and will come to help us in times of need. We certainly do not want to estrange ourselves fro them. It seems that good old Rudd who loves to sling mud at Howard’s open friendliness to the Yanks doesn’t mind borrowing ideas from their presidential campaign. I am talking about Labor’s new Kev07 media spin complete with cheap and nasty T-Shirts. Hey guys, as far as I am concerned Aussies do not need to borrow ideas from Clinton’s campaign, it’s so unAustralian and has just cheapened your professionalism.
What I want to see are your policies and what you will do to keep our country in it’s current growth trend. I also want to see less Union members in the party. The last thing we want is to see the Unions back in control with a resurrection of strikes.
