I ask this upon reading the news that Prime Minister hopeful Mr Rudd is trying to purchase a $5 million Queensland beach house. A house that has its own private beach frontage. He has admitted to renting this house on a number of occasions and when you consider that the property is advertised as $6000 per week off peek and $10,000 a week during peek periods one wonders how he could possibly know the plight of the true Aussie battlers.
Add to this the time when he didn’t even know what tax brackets were in existence one wonders how he intends to run the economy let alone the country. At least he doesn’t have to worry if our economy goes down the drain as his millionaire wife will have no trouble supporting him. Oh, the offer was rejected.
