Australia certainly isn’t known for tornadoes but tell that to the people of Lismore, a town in NSW Australia. As shown in this amateur video the town was hit by a mini tornado yesterday, Friday 27th October. The video is certainly worth watching especially as parks fly when the tornado hits a power substation.
Taken from the protection of a car the video later shows some pretty big hailstones hitting the car and falling around the vehicle. I reckon the occupants were lucky it wasn’t a full on tornado as they might have been taken on an unforeseen trip.
