A Fishing Secret

How many of you have been fishing and can’t even get a bite when the guy next to you seems to be reeling them in one after another? Quite a damn few I reckon, well read on to see what the secret could well be.

It happened on a cold winter day when an old man walks onto a frozen lake. He cuts a hole in the ice, makes himself comfortable and drops a line into the water and waits for a bite. He’s been there for over an hour without a single bite when a young boy rocks up, cuts his own hole not too far from the old man and drops in his line. To the old man’s amazement he hooks a big fish in less than a minute.

Just luck the old man thinks to himself, when a minute later the young boy lands another big one. This goes on for quite awhile when the old man who still hasn’t even had a nibble decides to find out the boys secret.

Ho goes over to the boy and say, “Hi son, you know I’ve been fishing for hours without a bite and then you rock up and land a dozen fish in the matter of a few minutes! What’s your secret?”

The boy says, “Roo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm.”

“What was that?” asks the old man.

The boy repeats, “Roo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm.”

I’m sorry says the old man but I can’t understand a word you are saying.

The boy rolls his eyes, spits into his hand and says, “You have to keep the worms warm!”
