I’m not sure of this but I think Puss In Boots originated in England and I only mention that because this story takes place in Northern England. Apparently, this cute little piglet has developed a phobia of mud and kept well away from it until the owners put a pair of wellingtons on his front trotters. Rather cute don’t you think? I don’t know if it will save him from the dreaded chop though?
Actually, it’s always been a misconception that pigs like mud to begin with. They wallow in it usually because they’re trying to cool down. I’m with this little guy, though; don’t like mud touching me either.
