My wife and I went to Fiji for our honeymoon, some twenty years ago, and while there I took a photo of this public bar that banned women. I thought it strange even then and was wondering how women were discriminated today as I have no doubt that it is still happening in one form or another.

As a mere male I may not always see it and so I thought I would do this post in the hope that some women may come across it and add their view to it. I know that the most likely place that women are discriminated against would have to be in the workplace but I’m not sure how legitimate this is as it would all depend on the work involved.

I know that there have been occasions in Australia where pregnant women have been discriminated against when it comes to breast feeding in public places and I have always found this really unusual as I’ve always thought it to be the most natural thing in the world.
