OK, tell the truth now, how many of you guys actually go overseas without taking out some sort of travel insurance? That many? I assume that all you others have learned the hard way the error of not taking out this valuable form of insurance.

There are so many things that a good travel insurance can cover, from having an accident or getting ill in a strange country to being stranded while overseas. Just ask anyone who was stranded in Thailand that was insured how much out of pocket they are. Not paying a nominal fee for travel insurance can cost you literally thousands of dollars and it’s a whole lot better to have it than not.
