Can you imagine what it would be like to work, work and work and not have the time to take a vacation? No? Well I can because I have gone for years with taking a holiday, on of the downfalls of owning your own business. The thing is that it doesn’t matter if you work for yourself or work for someone else everyone needs to take a vacation. These little breaks from work help you to relax and compose yourself in readiness for the next stint.
While staying at home can be relaxing you can also get caught up in little maintenance jobs that almost make you feel like you would rather be at work. I reckon I would much rather take one of those nice Vegas vacations. I reckon this would be a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the night life. I hear there is so much to do that even the wife will find stuff to keep her amused. Man, we might even find stuff that we could do together. Now, wouldn’t that be something ? 😉
I’ve been to Vegas twice, and I have to say that I didn’t rest either time. Had fun, but never came close to resting. My wife and I did get to one show, though, seeing comedian George Wallace; funny as anything.
Yeah, and we all know the reason for that don’t we Mitch? 😉 The main thing is that you enjoyed yourselves. I haven’t been to Vegas yet, but if I ever make it to the States it’s definitely on my places to see list, along with Graceland.
