Howard Versus Rudd, Who To Pick?

With the Federal elections looming you get to see a lot more of the politicians on the media and it is leaving a whole lot of people scratching their heads. You have the two main parties Labor and the Liberal National Coalition which are in power at the moment. Naturally you have supporters on both sides who will vote for their party regardless of policies as they can’t see past the blinkers that they are wearing.

One should consider many factors and the main one is how the country is tracking at the moment. If employment is up, the economy is running strong and the interest rates are down why would you want to change it? Labor and their Union cohorts (notice how more and more union members are filtering into the party) continue to knock Howard’s IR laws, but I find it amazing that Rudd who initially said he would completely throw the IR laws out if he won now has done a complete back-flip and is simply going to amend it to make it fairer.

The one thing that really scares me is how Labor and the Unions show complete disregard for employers. When you consider how many companies have gone overseas because they find it cheaper to produce their products over there, one wonders if Labor’s Union buddies want to provide even more incentive for the remainig companies to leave our shores.
