It seems that our dear Mr. Rudd is always apologising for mistakes he or his family continue to make. The latest apology is for his Wife’s company that put workers on individual contracts that stripped them of key award conditions. It was done using a common laws contract that reportedly removed penalty rates, overtime and allowances for an extra 45 cents an hour. This from the wife of the man of the party that continuously tries to ridicule the Governments IR laws and use of AWA’s.
Kevin Rudd claims that it was an honest mistake, how could he say anything else. I wonder what would happen to those who honestly made a mistake when filling out their tax forms under a Labor Government. I doubt they would be forgiven. It seems that maybe the Labor party would think twice before raking any small business owners over the coals for their mistakes.
As for Rudds Apologies. All well and good, but all I can say is can we afford a leader who is constantly making mistakes. Apologies may not exactly cut it when his mistakes are putting a country in peril.
