As usual Kevin Rudd and his cronies continue to pick on insignificant crap in order to make the Liberal party as unpopular as possible. The latest bit of mudslinging is against John Howard saying he should admit to the public when he is going to retire. They also tried this tactic in the last two elections trying to instill fear in the electorate saying they didn’t really know who they were voting for and that if Howard was elected he would hand the reins over to Peter Costello.
Well, he won those elections and he has led the country brilliantly and is still our leader. Howard still believes there are tasks left unresolved and he believes that, the electorate willing, he can finish what he has planned, but will retire in his last term of office.
Rather than beg for change, especially when the country which is doing so well under his leadership, Aussies should let him finish what he started.
