Things Can Appear Different When You Get Up Close

I took this photo of the flower of an onion plant and I got up pretty close to it so that I could frame it just right. From a distance it didn’t look like much but the whole aspect of it changes once you get up close.

Onion Flower

All it’s waiting for is a gust of wind that will blow the little seeds around so that they can be carried away and continue the species in another location.

I reckon life can be a little like that, only in reverse. Sometimes We need to be able to step back from the situation so that we can take in the whole picture and formulate a plan of action. Get in too close and the problem is not so obvious and that gust of wind only succeeds in blowing us over.
