The Tesla Electric Roadster Showing How Its Done

I’ve heard said that the world is heading for disaster if we don’t do something about global warming. They say that one of the main culprits that is sending us down this path is the petrol guzzling cars that we all drive. They also say that our salvation is tied into hybrids cars, but wouldn’t it be better if we went all electric?

I know that all electric cars exist but I always figured they were ugly and the mileage per charge was a little low. That was before I came across the Tesla Roadster.

This sweet looking electric sports car does 0-60mph in under 4 secs and can go up to 244 miles (393 km) on a single charge of its lithium batteries. What gets me is that the Telsa isn’t something new, it’s been out since 2006. Sort of makes you wonder why there isn’t more electric cars around these days doesn’t it?

It probably has, but ELECTRIC is now the new gold. There are all sorts of electric cars out there, but it is all up to the batteries – the ones that can go the distance, can be recharged quickly. Watch out for new batteries. I think I wrote something at my Green Planet Blog a while back. http://worldofcae.blogsot.com

Thanks Peter, batteries are definitely an important part of the electric car and may well shape the future of these vehicles.
