Coca Cola Email Scam

Coca Cola email scamThere is a brand new Coca Cola email scam being sent out which is a total scam. I’ve printed the email below. Even Coca Cola have put out a FAQ warning people of this Coca Cola email scam.

How to tell its a Coca Cola Email Scam

The first thing you should know is that nobody goes through a bunch of random emails for a lottery. If they were going to have a lottery it would be publicised in order to get some value for their bucks. Just think about it, what’s in it for them to just hand out an unofficial lottery prize? None, right? That’s because no-one gives anything away for nothing. So how could this type of Coca Cola email scam possibly promote “awareness and  publicity of  the  Coca-Cola Zero sugar product”?

Secondly, why would a company the size of Coca Cola use a Yahoo account as their email contact? Of course they wouldn’t.

It’s obvious that the people who have perpetrated this scam have done it in order to get your personal information. So please don’t give them the chance of using that information against you.

So, if you’ve received the following email put it in your junk email folder. Whatever you do, don’t reply to it as that confirms they have a legitimate email and will open the floodgates for more scam emails.
