Just recently because my web host decided to put its price up by a whopping 30% I decided to change hosts. It wasn’t too hard to find a new host as I am an affiliate for lunarpages I decided to check them. Man did they have some good deals, so good that I signed on with them and am now in the process of swapping everything over.
Now it wasn’t just the $700 of free Coffecup software, that swung me over, it was the price. Not only do I save $90 on my previous host but also I now have a dedicated IP address. Not knowing what this was I looked it up to see what advantages it had (click the previous link to see the difference between shared and dedicated IP addresses) and decided it was a great thing for any serious webmaster.
I must admit I nearly didn’t follow through with the sale, about half way I got cold feet and exited from the site. This turned out to be a good thing as they offered me another $22 discount to complete the sale. Anything to save money. The sale also proved that lunarpages pay affiliate $65 per every customer sent to their site by an affiliate.
