Naturally it has nothing to do with Oprah herself as it has with the fact that the Irwin’s’ schedule was way too busy to enable them to go to Chicago. It seems that J. Leno on the other hand may be lucky enough to have mother and daughter on his show. This mainly being due that he, for the first time, had changed his taping schedule to accommodate their schedule.
John Stainton, family friend and manager, says that the request for young Bindi had been overwhelming. Mother and daughter were heading over to America to continue Steve Irwin’s tradition of promoting Australian tourism in the States. As such, Mr. Stainton is being careful that any interviews will be concentrating on the tourism aspect and not on Steve’s tragic death as Bindi needed to move forward and not to be constantly reminded of her fathers tragic death.
