I am not writing this post because I am pissed off at Google for downgrading me from a Page Rank of 3 to O, I am writing it because I truly believe that everyone wishing to make money with their blogs or websites should diversify. If you do not diversify you risk losing all your earning potential in one foul swoop.
Yeah, yeah, I know, you are completely satisfied with Google Adsense but what if, and it has been known to happen, Google had decided to cancel your account? You would be left with a greatly diminished earning capacity. That is just one of the reasons that I have joined Kontera ContentLinks and the other reason is that it complements my Google Adsense earning and doesn’t detract from it. At the moment I am earning 10% of my Adsense and I hope to increase that by concentrating on keyword rich posts.
Still, what I am making is peanuts compared to Jim Karter’s Blog who hopes to crack the $5000 dollars this month. I mean that what he hopes to earn this month alone and not his total earning since joining Kontera. Last month he did more than $4000! Man if only I get to make that much one day.
So, how does Kontera ContentLinks work? Basically, once your a member and you have added the code to you blog or site, Kontera will find contextually relevant keywords on your site and automatically matches them to relevant ads. These words then become active links, in the color of your choice, to advertisers sites.  Anyone who hovers the mouse pointer over the link is shown information about that link and then if they click on it they will be taken to that site and you earn money.
okay, I will likely give it a try.
There is nothing to lose and perhaps a bit extra cash to gain. 😀
