While there are some people who do not know how to use a credit card responsibly and often find themselves in financial difficulties, the majority of credit card users find credit cards to be a very useful bit of plastic. It’s useful in that once you have one there is no more need to carry great amounts of cash with you so it offers security. Also because you get a statement every month it is also very helpful when budgeting as you can see exactly where your money is going. This is a lot more difficult if you pay everything by cash.
There are many types of credit cards on offer but I always tend to go a credit card with rewards, providing that the interest rates on the card does not negate the rewards offered.
