I bought my 42″ Plasma ( a Panasonic Siera) in December of last year and I had decided on that over an LCD TV because at the time it better suited my needs. The one that I found most important, apart from price, is the fact that it’s refresh rate was a lot faster and so it was more suited to sports and action movies.
It seems though that LCD TV’s a catching up and if I was to buy one today I would find it a lot harder to choose between the two. Whichever way I would go I reckon that I would get a pretty good deal at Buy.com
