Computer Memory Upgrade Improves Performance

I’ve had several computers and I can safely say that with each and every computer the performance of said computers decreased over time. I reckon that most people would have noticed the same thing with their computers and there are many things that can slow it down. Things like viruses and malware are the useful culprits but even when these are removed things just don’t seem to be loading as fast.

It could well be that over time we load programs that are more memory hungry and the current configuration just can’t cope as efficiently. On each occasion, rather than buying a new computer, I’ve noticed that a simple computer memory upgrade was all that was needed to improve computer performance.

Well, I’m not going to go that far (you know my computer issues after all), but I will say that my new computer is very fast with its 3GB DDR3 RAM. And last year, when I added another GB RAM to my laptop, it started moving faster also; before I added way too much stuff to it, at least.

Hi Mitch, at least the other computer ran on XP :lol_wp: Funny enough, after talking to you last I am seeing everyone talking about Windows 7, and before that I never even heard squat about it.

That’s just how life goes, my friend. Kind of like buying a new car, then suddenly it looks like everyone has the same thing.

Now that you mention it, that is exactly how it is.
