We all know how stressful it is for young teens today. What with all the media bombardment, peer and school pressure, not to mention the lack of job opportunities some just find it too hard to cope. For some teens these challenges may lead to low esteem, eating disorders, violence, substance abuse or even viloence.
It’s an ugly situation and why isn’t there someone out there doing something? Well some is U.G.L.Y which stand for Unique Gifted Lovable You They created the laugh track CD called “Laugh It Off” to help teens laugh off stress. It’s sold for $10 as a fundraising product to help them maintain their website. It’s a non profit organization whose sole purpose is to empower teens with self-esteem building tools, to help them counter the above challenges.
