I must admit that I have a soft spot for my mom, as I realize everything she had to go through to raise us kids. It really is quite sad though that I had to wait until I had my own kids before this very important fact finally sunk in. If only I had realized sooner I might not have given her such a hard time as I was growing up, passing my growing pains onto her was really unfair. What is really amazing is that my mom never once complained.
At least now I can take advantage of every situation to show my appreciation for all that she has done for us, the next one coming up being mothers day gifts.
