Bulldogs Whipped Into Submission By Crows Onslaught

You little beauty, the footy is back on. It’s been so bloody boring without it and I have been waiting so long for the season to start again. In my excitement I forgot to blog about the first match which considering we lost I wasn’t too fussed anyway. It was a pretty average game for our blessed Crows and the ball skills show by the Bombers left us looking pretty dismal indeed. Final scores was Essendon 105 to Adelaide 74.

Then came round 2. This is the game where everyone was saying that the Crows had no chance in hell of winning. Well what do those wankers know. The Crows ran all over the Bulldogs, and the Bulldogs coach was so pissed off with his side he had this to say.

You’re dealing with human beings, they’re worse than horses – at least with horses, you know you can get a whip on them and give them a bit of a crack.

Somehow I don’t think that would of helped but I reckon it would of made Eade feel a whole lot better. Scott Welsh and Nathan Bock were real stars kicking four goals apiece and it sure was nice seeing the forwards coming into their own for a change.

Final scores:
ADELAIDE 4.5 8.10 14.12 16.14 (110)
WESTERN BULLDOGS 4.1 5.2 6.5 11.6 (72)
