There is one really good way to save money, and this is true no matter where you live and what you want to buy, and that is to shop around. Just the other day I was talking to my bank manager and I complained to her how I thought that the interest rate on my mortgage was too high and instead of telling me that that was the best he could do, the moron said that if I could get it cheaper somewhere else he would match it.

In essence she told me that he could do better but only to keep the account. So she figures that I will be happy to do all the legwork and then I’d give them the option to match the price. Shit, and she wasn’t even a blonde. If someone was to offer me secured loans at a better rate, then they get my business.

So remember, if you’re looking to Remortgage or getting any sort of loan. Do yourself a favour and shop around.
