I am not one to promote gossip because I believe that gossip is an evil that can cause unnecessary hardship and emotional upheaval to the person it is aimed at. I hope that I have never blogged for the intention purely to spread gossip as this is totally against my beliefs. I do post on certain subjects that I believe in but hopefully it was all factual and not done to spread untruth.

Having said this not all gossip has the intent of harm, as normally it starts out as idle chatter between friends and neighbours. While a well-known way of sharing news and views, it is well known that in the sharing a lot of untruths and embellishments may creep in, which can lead to a fair bit of drama.

What’s that? You reckon it sounds like a good plot for a new TV series, well it looks someone has beaten you to it because the first season of Gossip Girl on The CW will premiere on Wednesday, September 19, 2007! It’s a teen drama created by Josh Schwartz, creator of The O.C., and Stephanie Savage. I am sure this will be another great series that will have you riveted to your seat as you try and work out what drama will unfold as the series progresses.
