Australia Takes Google To Court!

Well, not so much Australia exactly, but as can be seen by the following news article, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. They reckon (the ACCC) that Google did not clearly distinguish between “organic” search results and “sponsored links”, which are advertisements. It will be interesting to see what transpires with the ACCC assult on Google. They may well have a case if they can convince the courts that there is much confusion between the way Google displays results.
