After leaving England and its protests by pro Tibetans it seems that the Olympic Torch was in for an even rougher time in Paris. Protests over there got to such a stage that the torch had to be extinguished on three separate occasions and transported on a bus to get it away from protesters. This video shows what happened with quite a bit of detail.
Probably the best idea that came across from watching the video was not to ban the Olympics in China but for the world Governments not to take part in the opening ceremony as a form of protest. Somehow I don’t think that this will happen.
