If you are building a new home or even redecorating your old one then perhaps you should consider wood flooring as these have several advantages over ceramic tiles or even carpeting. As far as ceramic tiles are concerned, wood flooring gives your home a more natural appearance and is a lot warmer to the touch, even in the middle of winter as it has better insulation properties.
When compared to carpets, I’d say the best thing about the wooden floors is the durability and the ease of cleaning, not to mention being free for allergic properties that carpets collect that can cause breathing difficulties for certain asthmatics.
