Well it seems that Aussie forces in Iraq will not be coming home anytime soon. Prime Minister John Howard has confirmed in this news telecast that our troops will stay alongside their American comrades until such a time as it is deemed the Iraqis can look after themselves.
I would really like to know what the majority of the Iraqis would like. Do they want us to stay or do they want us to leave? If they want us to stay then I think that it would be foolhardy to leave until they were ready to take full control themselves.
