Brits Claim Aussie Red Wine “Good For Your Heart”

Much to the chagrin of the Australian Wine & Brandy Corporation (AW&BC), a South Australian wine just released in England is being advertised as being good for the heart. Aptly named “Red Heart” the South Aussie wine showed after tests to contain 32 percent more antioxidants than the average bottle of red wine.

Buckingham Vintners knowing how antioxidants are said to have beneficial health properties decided to use this as a promotional tool to launch this new red. Back in Australia they’re having a hernia because it is virtually “promoting wine as a health drink and that’s something that’s not permitted”, as stated by Eric Wisgard AW&BC ‘s corporate affairs manager.

Now what do we care what their doing over in England, I mean it’s no skin off our nose right? Well apparently they want to market it world wide including Australia.
