Chasers Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves

There was a song performed last night on the ABC’s Chaser’s War on Everything where they poked fun at the way once celebrities died, regardless of how they lived. It featured the line “even tools turn into top blokes after death” and mentioned Aussie legends like Steve Irwin, Peter Brock and Sir Don Bradman. They stopped just short of making fun about Rove McManus’s wife, Belinda Emmett, who died after a long battle with breast cancer.

Now I do not care that most people do not find their song offensive as that just points to societies current lack of respect for other peoples sensibilities. I realize that these wankers are only trying to make a name for themselves in the hope that a national network may save them from the ABC’s clutches, but at what expense.
