Don’t You Just Love Digital Cameras?

~~~
I’ve been itching to get a new digital camera for quite some time now and because there are so many around I wanted to make sure I got the right one. After sussing out a whole heap of digital cameras I decided on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50. This camera is completely different from my normal SLR but I wanted something compact that still had a lot of features as well as being easy to use.
As it turns out I made the right choice as this is a fantastic camera. I’ve had digital cameras before but this is by far the best. I comes with a Leica 28mm lens for wide angle shooting and packs a whopping 7.2 mega-pixels of power. It has a lot of other nifty features like anti-shake (optical image stabilizer) a 16 scene modes and auto bracketing. The quality of photos in low light condition is also quite good for a digital camera.
The 3 inch LCD screen is also a great feature especially because it allows you to compare two pictures at the same time so you can check composure, lighting and picture quality. Another great thing about the LCD screen is that at a touch of a button you can select “Power LCD” for those occasions when you are shooting in bright sunlight, and “High Angle Mode” for when you are holding the camera above your head. Normally without this mode it’s pretty hard to see anything at all on the LCD. As far as a point and shoot camera goes it certainly does the job.
