It happened at one of the famous Adelaide clubs where a ventriloquist was going through his normal run of stupid blonde jokes when a big blonde woman near the front yells out, “OK you jerk, I’ve heard enough of you denigrating blonde jokes. What makes you think that you can sterotype women that way? What the hell does a person’s attributes have to do with their worth as a human being?” Her voice is rising to a a coup;e of octaves as she goes on, “It’s guys like you who keep women like me from being respected in the community and work force. It’s low lifes like you who keep us from reaching our full potential because your kind continue to discriminate against not only blondes but women in general and all for the sake of a couple of laughs!”
The ventriloquist starts to stumble and apology when the blonde interrupts and shouts, “You stay out of this mister, I’m talking to that little bastard on your knee!”
